profession...
I decide to interview my father Milton Baldeon who is a Industrial Engineer. Im not quite sure the exact field of engineering i will be going into but industrial is one i have been looking at . When interviewing him of his worries and thoughts he explained to me that he doesnt see industrial engineers being in very big demand in the next few years. He explained that even now it is hard find a good job with benefits (expectially in this economy). The need for industrial engineers is getting weeded out and replaced by other sectors of the engineering field. His main worries were for me finding a good job, 401K and health insurances. Expecially with the crisis that has been going on in the past few months 401k have plumeted nearly 50% leaving workers close to retirement very nervous. Each year companies are also lowering coverage on insurance benefits, which in turn incase your family were to get sick would cost you alot. When discussing the job situation he began stressing how important it was to network and get your foot in the door as soon as possible. Many jobs are transfering overseas for low wages and job security i America is being compromised. Overall his insight in the engineering profession was very helpful it allows me to view my worries but also worries of someone who is in the field.
finish... (It is way over 24 hours but i was having some computer problems.)
Overall when completing the quiz i ended up having 6.1 worlds which i find to be a huge amount. When looking to see what i could do to improve it only gave me three options and even doing those things it brought my worlds to 5.6 which to me isnt a huge difference. I dont think the quiz was very acurate but it got me to thinking on how i could recylce, eat less meat and buy local grown products. For the 24 hours i decided to eliminate meat from my diet and i also went to a local market to get produce . It was impossible for me to not drive because i live about 30 miles from school but i walked to all my classes instead of parking somewhere else. Instead of using basic water bottles i decide to buy zephryhills eco water bottle, which uses half of the plastic. Although i try to recycle i made it a point to look at all items i was throwing away and place them in a bin. Overall nothing i did within the 24 hours was hard and although i would not be able to eliminate meat from my diet completely , i think i will be able to apply some approached to reduce my carbon foot print.

I feel the two best games that describes Education and Advertising would be PlanetGreengames.com andClick4obama.com. For planetgreengames before even entering the game it gave you facts about global warming and also showed pictures of devestations happening ,do to the changes in climates. It not only represents the harmful effect but it also gives you strategies on how to reverse the effects. While playing the game along with the facts that will pop up, it showes you the amount of emissions produced by driving ,etc. It also again shows you alternative methods on which reduce emissions. For the advertising games i feel that Click4obama gives a good representation. Not only in the title is the games advertising Obama , but once entering Obama's name is in plain sight in bold letters. The game itself it claim to "gain more ad's" , adding in even more advertising.
